Save the Earth

28th March.
The day we saved our earth.
Kinda...
You guys are aware bout the day the whole world were asked to participate
in the saved the earth by shuttin off the lights (*bter still any electricity items)
for one hour (*8:30pm - 9:30pm for Malaysians)held by WWF.
well,here in UiTM perak,we too participated in the event.
by 8:30pm sharp...UiTM still hasnt shut off the lights...
But most of the rooms in Damar's has started to switch off their lights.
Around 8:35pm the street lights of UiTM and even the spotlight were switched off.
My friends and I were proud of the participation.
Dissapointingly Down Town were filled with student that were there coz they wanted lights.
Not even a sigle light were switch off.Except for one tent (*it doesnt really count coz it
wasnt switch on in the first place)
A few rooms in Block Bidara & Angsana were seen switching off their lights.
The street were dark...Nothg could be seen...
But still many rooms in Bidara were still light up with neon lights.
Hall ways were bright as ever bcoz it uses an automatic switch.
But still some rooms refuse to participate.
I even saw a room with a girl standin outside with her PC switched on to desktop.
Whats wrong with just switchin it off for just an hour?
Is it that hard?
I was told that all the Dewan Makan in UiTM has switched off their lights.
But for one very stubborn D.M,they had refuse to do so.
Boys from Damar were furuos...
They kept shoutin down to the Abg2 in D.M to switch off the lights.
The even brought out their Gong and Temberine...
We from Cemara joined them...
Protesting loud to D.M to switch off the lights...
Instead, Abg2 D.M turn on the T.V so loud that we could hear it evn at level 3.
Its really sad how humans noadays are...
They want the best for themselves...
But ignorant enough to do so...
Is one hour hard enough to achieve?
